Help understanding the insurance process
EveryDay Support From Day One can help patients and caregivers understand their health insurance coverage and costs associated with their medicine.
Treatment education and support
Our specialty pharmacy partners are staffed with nurses and pharmacists with extensive expertise in working with children and families with cancer. They will provide your patients with ongoing treatment education and support, such as:
-
Provide counseling with a pharmacist on how to take their medicine
-
Have a nurse or pharmacist educate patients on potential side effects and ways to mitigate their occurrence
-
Advise caregivers and/or patients on how to prepare, measure, and administer a liquid formulation of the medicine, if needed
-
Provide refill reminders and ongoing support for treatment as needed
This guide for patients explains each step that happens after a Day One medicine is prescribed.
Important to note:
Remind your patients and their families they may receive a phone call from a number they do not recognize. It is important they answer and return all their calls. We recommend saving these numbers to the contact list in their phone.
